Job Summary
Monitoring all operations of the movement of workers, materials and equipment and distributing work tasks to vehicle drivers, managing the company’s owned and leased vehicles and supervising all maintenance operations, supervising the supply of petroleum products to vehicles, following up on the completion of all procedures related to traffic accidents for vehicles, and ensuring that everything necessary is provided for managing transportation activities.
Responsibilities

1. Monitor all movements of workers, materials, and equipment, and assign work tasks to vehicle drivers.
2. Maintain constant coordination with the Facilities Management, Agricultural Projects Management, and Branch Operations Departments, adhering to the directives of direct supervisors regarding project operations. This includes allocating vehicles to branches and monitoring drivers' performance of work tasks at all times, including official holidays and emergencies.
3. Record all vehicle data and information, maintain related documents, monitor maintenance operations according to government requirements, record information on drivers and other recipients on the computerized vehicle management system, and monitor vehicle records on the General Directorate of Traffic's "Tam" platform.
4. Supervise the supply of necessary petroleum products to vehicles in coordination with the approved fuel supplier and ensure monthly payments are made.
5. Supervise all routine (minor) maintenance operations for all vehicles, including oil changes, and ensure the availability of spare parts at the company workshop.
6. Recommend reputable maintenance workshops for contracting to perform vehicle maintenance (major breakdowns or accidents) if the vehicle is not covered by insurance. 7. Supervise emergency and corrective maintenance operations to address sudden vehicle breakdowns during work operations, coordinating with workshops to carry out the necessary maintenance. 8. Follow up on the completion of all procedures related to traffic accidents involving vehicles with Najm Company, the Traffic Department, and insurance companies. 9. Issue and renew vehicle registration and operating licenses before their expiry date with the General Directorate of Traffic and the Public Transport Authority. 10. Select new vehicle drivers in coordination with the Human Resources Department and test them before assigning vehicles to ensure their driving abilities and capabilities. 11. Issue traffic driving licenses for drivers and follow up on their renewal before their expiry date. 12. Participate with the Procurement and Contracts Department in the contracting process with insurance companies, and follow up on the issuance and renewal of vehicle insurance policies before their expiry. 13. Maintain continuous coordination with the Finance Department regarding all expenses related to transportation operations, vehicles, drivers, and their overtime hours, in accordance with the directives of the Procurement and Supply Manager. • 14. Developing the technical specifications for new vehicles and participating in their selection in coordination with the Procurement Department. • 15. Following up on and receiving copies of vehicle delivery documents for drivers or transfers between drivers, according to the approved vehicle handover form, after inspecting the vehicle and ensuring there are no issues preventing its use and that it is equipped with safety features. This includes issuing vehicle driving authorizations on the (Tam) platform. • 16. Ensuring the availability of necessary safety equipment and tools for drivers and vehicles, and working to guarantee their availability in all company vehicles. • 17. Coordinating and liaising with transportation companies to provide transportation needs that cannot be met by company vehicles, if necessary. • 18. Preparing and submitting reports to the Procurement and Supply Manager on all administrative and technical aspects related to drivers and vehicles that affect workflow or contribute to improving work performance. • 19. Attending work meetings to discuss observations and complaints from departments benefiting from transportation services regarding the operation of transporting personnel, materials, or equipment. • 20. Conduct periodic performance evaluations of all employees in the Transportation Department, including drivers, mechanics, and electricians, and evaluate the performance of suppliers (approved maintenance workshops). • 21. Supervise drivers' performance of their duties, ensuring compliance with internal work regulations and adherence to their assigned routes through the vehicle tracking system, and apply penalties to violators. • 22. Monitor drivers' compliance with traffic regulations, particularly speed limits, and report any traffic violations to the Head of the Logistics Department for deduction from their pay. • 23. Regularly inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations and rectify any violations. • 24. Monitor the external appearance of vehicles and ensure the renewal of the company logo sticker. • 25. Maintain a backup of all vehicle keys in the keypad box. • 26. Adhere to the company's approved occupational health and safety policy. • 27. Perform any other duties assigned by direct supervisors.
