Job Summary
The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards across the workplace. The role aims to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, minimize workplace risks, prevent accidents and injuries, and promote a strong safety culture
Responsibilities

Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance.
Identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend control measures.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports.
Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness training programs.
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees and contractors.
Monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
Assist in developing and implementing emergency response and evacuation plans.
Inspect fire safety equipment, emergency exits, and first-aid facilities to ensure readiness.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and international HSE standards.
Participate in HSE meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare monthly HSE reports and performance statistics.
